OHIO APPARITION: THE BLESSED MOTHER'S PLAN TO RESCUE AMERICA
@Spirit Daily
Those seeking to fulfill the requests made by the Virgin Mary to a nun in Fostoria, Ohio, are setting about a plan that if successful would install dedications to Mary under the title "Our Lady of America" in three major areas of the United States: the East, the Midwest, and the West.
The East would be the center of attention if as requested a statue of the Virgin is placed in the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington -- serving not only as a guardian of the U.S. but as an international beacon.
If promoted by bishops in the U.S. (as the Virgin allegedly requested of Sister Mildred Mary Neuzil in remarkable apparitions that already have initial Church approval), the place of many apparitions, Fostoria, Ohio -- where fellow sisters are trying to establish the Center of Our Lady of America -- would also become a major place of pilgrimage. That would be the Midwest location and indeed the capstone in a state that has led the nation in its devotion to the Blessed Mother with many groups dedicated to Medjugorje and already has the worlds largest Marian library (at the University of Dayton).
In the West an attempt has begun to build a basilica dedicated to Our Lady of America in the area of Colfax, California -- where phenomena linked to Mary have been reported since the early 1990s, including the alleged sighting of angels and an inexplicable light in a small church.
We'll be having more on what happened there shortly. It's as if the Virgin has set forth "beach-heads" in her war with the devil in every major America region. Sister Neuzil claimed that in 1981 an immense angel who identified itself as "guardian, protector, and defender" of the U.S. appeared with a gigantic sword tipped with a searing white flame. In his left hand were bolts of lightning that pierced in all directions. We must emphasize that this revelation came after the death of an archbishop, Paul F. Leibold, who gave earlier apparitions of the Blessed Mother to Sister Neuzil his implicit approval. Therefore, it has not been discerned. "If the people of this Land carry out faithfully the instructions and pleadings of the Lord Jesus and the Virgin Mother then they will be following me to the hour of peace," the angel allegedly said. "With this sword of the divine white flame of Love and the lightning bolts of His infinite Justice, God will strike down His enemies and heal the repentant sinner. This nation and all who follow in the pursuit of peace will know the protection of God and the destruction of those who fight and seek to destroy them through the evil powers of the infernal spirits of darkness of hate."
In revelations from 1938 until her death last year (January 10, 2000), Sister Neuzil was told that the U.S. was to purify itself and spiritually lead the world back to Christ -- or face what the nun called "a terrible purification."
"I come to you, O children of America," the Virgin said, "as a last resort."
