Is Mary with the baby in the womb?

The picture is an un-retouched sonogram taken October 26, 2005. A lady from our parish brought it to me to proudly introduce Nathaniel Edward, her great-grandson, at the six month of pregnancy. At the office we all marveled. To the right there seems to be another face: that of a veiled woman with a large cross over her eye, looking at the child as if ready to kiss him.  We all thought of our Blessed Mother.

The picture brought to my mind that at this time it is legal to kill babies like this one through abortion. Jesus is being put to death again in every abortion. He said: 'Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.' Mt. 25, 40

Jonathan was loved by his parents. Now mother and baby, already born, are doing fine. But many others need our help.

Blessed Virgin Mary, give us the courage to love and defend the unborn.
