From Newsweek:
Nearly 200,000 electric customers in Texas were without power early Tuesday, according to the tracker poweroutage.us, following severe storms on Memorial Day. The outages come after severe weather warnings were issued for the region from the National Weather Service (NWS), many of which were still in place early on Tuesday morning.
Trinity County in eastern Texas was the worst affected, with more than 3,700 customers reporting outages, a rate of 33.2 percent of all customers tracked. Next door, in Houston County, just over 3,300 customers were without power, or roughly 21 percent of all customers tracked. Just over 20 percent of tracked customers were out of power in Newton County too.
