How John F. Kennedy and the Virgin Mary Prevented a Nuclear War.
Six decades ago, on November 22, 1963, the first Catholic president in the United States was assassinated.
And his alleged killer suffered the same fate two days later.
Investigations into what happened revealed a series of cover-ups, which could imply an operation by the intelligence services as being behind it.
The 1992 law required the release of all records related to JFK’s death by 2017.
President Donald Trump refused to publish them on that occasion and then President Joseph Biden, himself a Catholic — the only one, save for Kennedy — did too, at the request of the CIA and the FBI.
What is so embarrassing that they are afraid to show the American public sixty years later?
Was it the CIA, the Mafia, the Communists?
But the most important thing in the memory of the assassination is how Our Lady convinced Kennedy, and also Khrushchev, President of the Soviet Union, not to embark on a nuclear war, which today is also a latent danger for our generation.
Here we will talk about the death of John Kennedy when 60 years have passed since the assassination; and about the most difficult test of his presidency, which was the Cuban missile crisis, and how the Virgin Mary acted, prompting John XXIII to reveal a version of the Third Secret of Fatima, which he had previously refused to disclose.
And how the Virgin intervened two decades later to avoid a nuclear war again.
Catholic theologian James W. Douglass conducted research that he published in the book “JFK and the Unspeakable: Why He Died and Why It Matters.”
In his book, Douglass mentions a quantity of information that seems to link the CIA to the Kennedy assassination.
It seems that after the Bay of Pigs debacle in 1961, President Kennedy had threatened to break the CIA into a thousand pieces and scatter them to the wind.
He had quietly begun moving to cut the CIA budget in 1962 and again in 1963, with the goal of reducing it by twenty percent.
The destruction of the CIA had begun.
The CIA’s surreptitious foreign operations, especially in Vietnam and Cuba, were in grave danger.
Kennedy was influenced by his relationship with John XXIII.
He had inherited Catholicism from his mother Rose, a devout daily communicant who constantly prayed the Rosary, who even wanted the family fortune to be donated to monks in Massachusetts.
But even though John was an incorrigible womanizer and cheated on his wife Jacqueline many times, he continued to maintain an unequivocally Catholic spiritual routine.
During his presidency and throughout his life, he went to Mass every Sunday and every night he said his prayers on his knees.
And he had a mystical link with the famous monk Thomas Merton, who lived in seclusion in a Trappist monastery in Kentucky.
There, the monk prayed fervently that Kennedy would move from hostility to establishing world peace, and that unlike other politicians, he would turn away from violence and toward compassion and humanity.
And Merton was prophetic. He wrote on January 18, 1962 to W.H. Ferry: “Kennedy will miraculously break through into it someday. But such people are marked by murder.”
And just before JFK arrived in Dallas, where he lost his life, he had gone to Confession.
In the last months of his life, the president had spoken to friends about his own death with a freedom and frequency that shocked them.
And just before his trip to Dallas, Kennedy himself had a feeling that this trip could be his last, and he said out loud how easy it would be for an assassin to attack him from a building.
And then striking coincidences arose.
Abraham Lincoln, the first US president to be assassinated, was elected to Congress in 1846 and Kennedy in 1946.
Lincoln became president in 1860 and Kennedy in 1960.
Both assassinations were on a Friday due to shots to the head, and Kennedy’s secretary was named Lincoln and warned him not to go to Dallas.
Their successors were named Johnson; Andrew Johnson was born in 1808, and Lyndon Johnson, in 1908.

The most difficult test of Kennedy’s presidency occurred on October 16, 1962, when he was informed of the presence of Soviet missiles in Cuba, which could easily reach North American territory.
He issued an ultimatum to Moscow, putting the world on the brink of nuclear war for the first time.
Humanity feared an atomic holocaust; there were weeks in suspense around the world.
Then the Holy See, and specifically John XXIII, in a desperate situation, resorted to the Third Secret of Fatima, which should have been published in 1960 at the direction of the Virgin, and which he had declined to do so.
And he sent a summary of the Third Secret to the world powers, especially the USSR and the USA, in order to persuade them not to use the atomic arsenal.
That document was known as the Diplomatic Version of the Third Secret of Fatima.
In the “Memoirs of Cardinal Cassaroli” it is read that President Kennedy highlighted that John XXIII’s decision helped the signing of the anti-atomic détente treaty and solved the Cuban missile crisis.
This diplomatic version is not the literal text of the Third Secret of Fatima, but its general context has many guarantees of veracity.
Let us remember that the Vatican does not falsify documents, nor invent them; it simply added things.
The most compelling passage for world leaders in the face of the nuclear crisis was:
“A great war will break out in the second half of the 20th century.
“Fire and smoke will fall from the sky, the waters of the oceans will turn into vapors and the foam will rise, stirring and sinking everything.
“Millions and millions of men will perish from hour to hour; those who remain alive will envy the dead.
“Wherever you look, there will be anguish, misery, ruins in all countries.”
This curiously would be repeated almost verbatim a decade later in the apparitions of Akita, Japan.
The same as a passage that says that there will be Cardinals against Cardinals and Bishops against Bishops.
And after Kennedy and Khrushchev agreed to withdraw their most threatening missiles, on Sunday morning, October 28, 1962, JFK went to Mass in Washington to pray in thanksgiving.
But this was not the only intervention of Heaven to avoid nuclear war.
On March 25, 1984, John Paul II consecrated the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary without mentioning Russia, because it could cause a diplomatic incident with the Russian Orthodox.
And less than two months later, on May 13, 1984, on the 67th anniversary of the first appearance of Fatima, catastrophe struck the Russian fleet at the missile-packed Severomorsk naval base near Finland in the Barents Sea, devastating the northern fleet of the Soviet Union.
And the following year, 1985, there would have been a nuclear war, Sister Lucia would reveal later, during an interview at her convent, if John Paul II had not made that Consecration.
Because of the consecration, although imperfect, this did not happen. [A full Consecration was finally carried out, in 2021, by Pope Francis.]
And in November 1989 the Berlin Wall fell and in December 1991 the Soviet Union disintegrated, without firing a single shot.
Another great award for the Consecration.
Well, here we wanted to talk about the biggest test that John Kennedy had during his presidency, and how the Virgin Mary was fundamental in preventing a possible nuclear war, precisely through a Pope who had been disobedient to Her.
And I would like to ask you who you think was behind the assassination of John Kennedy in 1963.
