I understand this as a summary and purpose of all Our Lady’s messages given at Medjugorje.

She once said to the visionaries that “all answers can be found in prayer”

More recently Marija stopped providing an explanation of the monthly message to Fr Livio at Radio Maria.

I sense she may be preparing for some kind of withdrawal from giving a monthly message, even though she is still one of the visionaries said to be receiving daily apparitions.

Remember it was only a year ago that Mirjana made the surprise announcement she would no longer  receive monthly apparitions from Our Lady and therefore no message to give out on the 2nd of every month as she had done for many years.

So are we approaching a time of the next stage of the Medjugorje phenomenon?

The latest message reminds me of the verse from Isaiah 53:12 – “…he was bearing the faults of many and praying all the time for sinners.”

And with Passion Week approaching we are reminded of Jesus exhorting his disciples to be on the alert: “Stay awake, praying at all times for the strength to survive all that is going to happen, and to stand with confidence before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21-36)
