From Forums of the Virgin Mary [translated]:
How to distinguish objects that bring you closer to the devil from those that protect you.
A permanent battle between good and evil is waged in the world, although it is not entirely visible to most people.
Do you know that there are weapons that can be used against you, even without you knowing it?
Objects, for example, ornaments that seem harmless, can open you to the influence of the evil one.
Every choice you make, even the most seemingly insignificant, can have an impact on your spiritual protection. [for discernment and not fear].
Here we will reveal the hidden dangers hidden behind certain objects you use.
You will discover how these objects can give a signal to evil forces to attack you and how others give the opposite signal.
And you will learn to discern which objects are safe for your soul and which you should avoid at all costs.
One day, a family with a visibly disturbed pregnant young woman arrives at Father Miguel Pedroso, a well-known exorcist priest in the Archdiocese of São Paulo, Brazil.
And they explain that the woman had extremely strange behavior.
Sometimes she was caught in the corners of the house speaking in strange languages that she did not know.
Other times she would have fits of rage that five or six men were not enough to contain.
The exorcist learned that no one in the family had an aversion to blessed objects, images, and rosaries–a marker of possession.
Then, Father Miguel began to pray for her.
And as soon as the exorcism began, there was a very clear manifestation of possession.
Father Miguel demanded that the demon say who he was and what he wanted there, in the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
And the answer he received was, “We have come to take possession of what is ours. She is ours and we are not going to leave.”
And as he performed the rite, he realized that the demons did not really obey him.
Then he asked that they bring an image of Our Lady.
And the demons manifested a terrible fury, saying, “Not the woman, not the woman,” because they feared her as the queen of Heaven and earth, the queen of the angels–good and bad.
And furthermore, for demons, it is humiliating that a human creature, a woman, has not been touched by sin.
Then, invoking the intercession of Our Lady, Father Michael forced the demons to say why they would not leave.
And finally, the demons told him, “Because our hands are on her and we are not going to get out.”
When the demons said, “Our hands are on her,” Father Miguel Pedroso, who was an experienced exorcist, asked the young woman’s husband and father: “Does she wear a pendant, chain, or something like that?”
The husband said yes, she wore a chain.
Then the father said, “Please open her blouse and let me see the cord.”
When the husband opened the blouse, the demons, enraged, resisted him taking the chain.
What was on his neck was a strange figure and the demons repeated, “Our hands are on it.”
Then Father Miguel told the husband, “Break that cord now and throw it on the ground.”
The wife writhed as the husband broke and threw the cord to the ground.
And immediately, Father Miguel prayed the rite of exorcism, and this woman was completely liberated.
And at the end, he told the woman, “Throw that away and never again use that type of object that is foreign to our faith.
“If you are going to wear a pendant, wear a Crucifix, a Miraculous Medal, a medal of Our Lady of Graces, a medal of Our Lady of Tears, wear a blessed sacramental on the neck, do not wear objects foreign to our faith.” [scroll for more:]
Is this sectarianism? Let’s look at this other case to understand that it is not?
There is a story told by the Dominican Blessed Alano de la Roche, who was visited by the Blessed Virgin in the fifteenth century to revive the prayer of the Rosary.
On one occasion, two Dominican priests were called to perform an exorcism without success.
This young woman had unusual strength and knowledge of hidden things: she demonstrated a physical strength that is typical of the devil, and she revealed the sins of the people present.
Then, they turned to Blessed de La Roche himself and he worked without much success until he had the idea of a different strategy.
He took his Rosary and placed it on the young woman’s neck, and the rite of exorcism began.
The demon began to beg him to free him from it, using an interesting expression when referring to the Rosary as a “halter,” comparing it to what is used to control and direct a horse.
So from the Rosary the young woman had authority over the demons, because the Virgin Mary is the Queen of the Angels.
So what do these two cases allow us to conclude?
That the use of an object is a signal to the invisible world of to whom you belong.
If you use a rosary, you are manifesting that you belong to God.
But if you use objects that are not related to God, then it is as if you are telling the demons that you are not with God, as if you are giving them permission to act on you.
That’s why they told Father Miguel, “Our hands are on her.”
The point is that there are really only two fields, the one dominated by God and the one dominated by the evil one, and there is no neutral field; you are with one or the other.
So, the use of an object outside the field of God is a signal to the demons that you are open to them, even if you do it unconsciously.
And objects do not need to be cursed or infested to grant the permission, just their presence is permission in itself.
And it is not necessary for the object to have an obvious connotation with evil to give that permission, although permission becomes a calling when you use an object like a skull or a pentagram, even if they are not cursed or infested.
But it’s certainly worse when the item is infested or cursed.
Objects may be infested by demons.
And how are they infested? Due to demonic rituals that are performed on them; we have the case of voodoo dolls as an example.
Any priest can exorcise places and objects, while only exorcists authorized by their bishop can exorcise people.
But there are also liberation prayers for lay people, and it is recommended to sprinkle exorcised Holy Water on doubtful objects while praying the prayer to Archangel Michael.
We can never be sure that an object that is not a Christian sacramental is not infested.
Exorcists have found many objects, for example from ancient civilizations, that are infested, and that infest homes and can be vehicles of possession later.
We must remember that the presence of the prince of this world in those civilizations was very strong.
But in addition, objects that are not Catholic sacramentals are displayed on shelves with other similar objects which could well be infested, and if so, perhaps they become infected (or at least lessened).
So, the recommendation is not to carry with you any object that is foreign to our Catholic faith.
And what to do with them when they are discovered?
Destroy them or burn them so that they are indistinguishable, and bury them.
Or take them to a church so that a priest can take care of them.
Well, that’s it, what we at Forums wanted to explain, about how the use of non-sacramental ornaments is a sign for the evil one to attack you, even if it is not your intention and they are not infested, which is why you should get rid of them now.
And I would like to ask you if you were already aware of the danger of using non-Christian objects and the need to use Christian sacramentals for protection or not.
