From the Wall Street Journal:
Mastercard isn’t renewing its corporate sponsorship of the New York City Pride March, the city’s annual march for LGBTQ rights, for 2025.
The financial services giant has supported Heritage of Pride, the nonprofit group that organizes the New York march and other area LGBTQ events, for around a decade, serving as a top-level “platinum” sponsor and preferred payment partner for the past several years. Its decision puts it among a group of NYC Pride sponsors that are not returning this year. Others include soda-and-snacks marketer PepsiCo, automaker Nissan, banking giant Citi and consulting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers.
