Our Lady of Lourdes Prayer for healing<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n

O ever-Immaculate Virgin, Mother of Mercy,<\/p>\n

health of the sick, refuge of sinners,<\/p>\n

comforter of the afflicted,<\/p>\n

you know my wants, my troubles, my sufferings;<\/p>\n

look with mercy on me.<\/p>\n

By appearing in the Grotto of Lourdes,<\/p>\n

you were pleased to make it a privileged sanctuary,<\/p>\n

whence you dispense your favours;<\/p>\n

and already many sufferers have obtained<\/p>\n

the cure of their infirmities, both spiritual and corporal.
\nI come, therefore, with complete confidence<\/p>\n

to implore your maternal intercession.
\nObtain, O loving Mother, the grant of my requests.<\/p>\n

Through gratitude for your favours,<\/p>\n

I will endeavour to imitate your virtues,<\/p>\n

that I may one day share your glory.<\/p>\n

To Heal a Friend<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n

Think, O God, of our friend who is ill,<\/p>\n

whom we now commend to Your compassionate regard.<\/p>\n

Comfort him upon his sickbed, and ease his suffering.<\/p>\n

We beg for deliverance,<\/p>\n

and submit that no healing is too hard for the Lord, if it be His will.<\/p>\n

We therefore pray that You bless our friend with Your loving care,<\/p>\n

renew his strength, and heal what ails him in Your loving name.<\/p>\n

Amen.<\/p>\n

Prayer for Healing I<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n

Lord, look upon me with eyes of mercy,<\/p>\n

may your healing hand rest upon me,<\/p>\n

may your lifegiving powers flow into every cell of my body<\/p>\n

and into the depths of my soul,<\/p>\n

cleansing, purifying, restoring me to wholeness<\/p>\n

and strength for service in your Kingdom.<\/p>\n

Prayer for Healing II<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n

O God who are the only source of health and healing,<\/p>\n

the spirit of calm and the central peace of this universe,<\/p>\n

grant to me such a consciousness of your indwelling\u00a0and surrounding presence<\/p>\n

that I may permit you to give me health and strength and peace,<\/p>\n

through Jesus Christ our Lord.<\/p>\n

and may my mouth always proclaim Your praise.<\/p>\n

Teach me to reach out to You in all my needs,<\/p>\n

Most loving Heart of Jesus, bring me health in body and spirit<\/p>\n

that I may serve You with all my strength.<\/p>\n
