{"id":28481,"date":"2019-09-30T22:31:23","date_gmt":"2019-09-30T22:31:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/spiritdaily.org\/blog\/?p=28481"},"modified":"2019-10-02T13:45:19","modified_gmt":"2019-10-02T13:45:19","slug":"mailbag-unusual-uber-passengers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spiritdaily.org\/blog\/mailbag-unusual-uber-passengers\/","title":{"rendered":"Mailbag: Unusual Uber Passengers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-27249 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/spiritdaily.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/logoinside2-e1566562559464.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"60\" \/><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<div>Use the story if you wish&#8230;&#8230;..of course, keep my name, etc., out of the story&#8230;.<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">+<\/span><\/div>\n<div>I recently picked up a female passenger while Ubering.\u00a0 I drive like many for a part time job.<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">+<\/span><\/div>\n<div>I recently heard your podcast and you mentioned St. Michael the Archangel and your past dreams sensing something terribly evil.<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">+<\/span><\/div>\n<div>I frequently invoke St Michael to protect me while driving, from any problems, accidents or situations.\u00a0 I keep the St. Michael prayer taped to my bathroom mirror in my home.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>As I recently pulled up to the restaurant while Ubering, I noticed a middle-aged woman looking at her phone. I presumed it was her who had requested the ride.<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">+<\/span><\/div>\n<div>I opened my window like usual, and said &#8220;hello&#8221; are you &#8220;Becca.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">+<\/span><\/div>\n<div>She said yes, and got into the back seat.\u00a0 Just a normal ride to this point.<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">+<\/span><\/div>\n<div>No less than 1 minute into the ride, she said out of the blue and in a very calm, and composed voice &#8220;do you find me physically attractive?&#8221;\u00a0 I then looked in my mirror at her face.\u00a0 As you can imagine, I panicked and calmed myself to come up with a response.\u00a0 I did not want to say &#8220;yes&#8221; or &#8220;no,&#8221; not knowing what would come next from my response.<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">+<\/span><\/div>\n<div>After a few seconds, I responded something to the fact that she was a &#8220;pleasant&#8221; looking person.\u00a0 In reality, she was a very pretty middle-aged woman.\u00a0 Slim, trim and well dressed.<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">+<\/span><\/div>\n<div>What made this so unusual were her eyes.\u00a0 They were very dark and captivating.\u00a0 I only glanced for a second and I immediately felt a spiritual &#8220;draining.&#8221; I spiritually began to panic.<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">+<\/span><\/div>\n<div>I quickly looked away and would not look at her again. I felt a demonic presence sitting in my back seat.\u00a0 I felt if I looked at her again, I would be looking at something evil and powerful.\u00a0 I have given rides to several drunk females(and males) passengers in the past, and have never had this kind of spiritual fear.\u00a0 Annoying passengers that talk silly and that smell like alcohol, but not a evil presence that was spiritual in nature.<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">+<\/span><\/div>\n<div>Several years ago, I had a similar experience with a young man who had very dark eyes.\u00a0 He approached me while leaving adoration and asked me to drive him some thirty miles down the road.\u00a0 A total stranger.\u00a0 What scared me were his eyes. Once again, they were very dark.\u00a0 I felt spiritual fear talking to him, like he was draining my will power the longer I communicated with him.\u00a0 I felt doom and gloom awaited me.
