Incredible though it sounds, deliverance from evil spirits is a path — often\u00a0the<\/em> path — to miracles.<\/p>\n

We don’t usually put “deliverance” and “miraculous” together.<\/p>\n

We should.<\/p>\n

How many times did Jesus\u00a0miraculously<\/em> heal someone by casting out a demonic or unclean spirit?<\/p>\n

\"\"In a book called\u00a0Chain-Breaker<\/em>, Allan M. Weilert, a charismatic Catholic chiropractor from the Midwest, grants amazing examples.<\/p>\n

“Regrettably,” writes Dr. Weilert, “we believe the lies of the Deceiver, which incite pointless self-pity and remind us of how we have been slighted, hurt, misunderstood rejected, etcetera. Once we buy into this pack of lies, unforgiveness rapidly festers into the malignancy of resentment, which hardens our hearts.<\/p>\n

One time, says Dr. Weilert, a former Franciscan brother<\/a><\/span>, “we prayed with a college-age young man named ‘Paul,’ who the night before our inner-healing session had broken four fingers of his right hand in an aggressive volleyball match.<\/p>\n

“He received an instantaneous healing, while we prayed an inner healing prayer together for the forgiveness of his alcoholic, abusive father.” They could hear his joints and bones reset themselves.<\/p>\n

“Pronounced pops<\/em> from Paul’s bandaged fingers heralded this miraculous healing. Forgiveness was the sole focus of our ministry that evening. We paused our prayer to wonder at the power of forgiveness.”<\/p>\n

Let us contemplate the same thing, always.<\/p>\n

“Our college’s infirmarian, I saw how badly Paul had been injured — all his fingers were discolored — with the whole hand red and inflamed.<\/p>\n

“I took him to the emergency room. I was present when they splinted and taped his fingers the best they could.<\/p>\n

“Dumbstruck, we watched Paul joyfully rip away his bandages halfway into our inner-healing prayer! When Paul removed the splints, there was no trace of any trauma.”<\/p>\n
