Someone has dumped hundreds of decapitated goats over the past few years.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article24875688.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s1200b\/0_5JPG.jpg\" alt=\"Mystery of headless goats being dumped in river by voodoo-style cult - Daily Star\" width=\"150\" height=\"113\" \/>A few sacrificed animals<\/span> &#8212; perhaps several sheep near Miami, or chickens in New York &#8212; are one thing. Reports come periodically about isolated events.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailystar.co.uk\/news\/weird-news\/mystery-headless-goats-being-dumped-24875660\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">But\u00a0<em>hundreds<\/em><\/span><\/a>?<\/p>\n<p>When a reporter for the station accompanied Jason Ulseth, who works for the environmental group the Chattahoochee Riverkeepers, Ulseth had told him, &#8220;Lately it\u2019s become a lot more frequent, and on Friday we were out here and saw thirty of them floating down the river.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A witness, it seems, recorded cell-phone video of goats being tossed into the river from the I-20 bridge.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-tl066j-0 dowhnV body-paragraph\">According to the report, the video shows the goat hitting the water. \u201cHe actually hears the body splashing down, not only in the middle of the night, but he told me he hears them in the middle of the day,\u201d Ulseth said. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsbtv.com\/news\/local\/atlanta\/people-practicing-santeria-may-be-dumping-headless-goats-chattahoochee-investigation-finds\/NEDWIMYQVFA7JDD5M5O7ILY34Y\/\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><em><strong>[For Full Story<\/strong><strong>]<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-tl066j-0 dowhnV body-paragraph\">It wasn&#8217;t even Halloween, at the time of that report.<\/p>\n<p>Even the staid\u00a0<em>New Yorker<\/em> Magazine picked up on the story, featuring it more recently, on September 29, 2022, the feast of the Archangel Michael, of course, though one doubts the magazine planned it that way (or even is familiar with that feast day).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The case of the headless goats is a mystery,&#8221; says the magazine. &#8220;It\u2019s also a public-health hazard, and a nightmare for a stretch of river that\u2019s newly safe for recreation.<\/p>\n<p>Noted the writer, &#8220;one\u00a0<a class=\"external-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wsbtv.com\/video\/local-video\/investigation-people-practicing-santeria-may-be-dumping-headless-goats-chattahoochee\/e938f6a8-45d0-4317-bb18-9b18560c49ea\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-offer-url=\"https:\/\/www.wsbtv.com\/video\/local-video\/investigation-people-practicing-santeria-may-be-dumping-headless-goats-chattahoochee\/e938f6a8-45d0-4317-bb18-9b18560c49ea\/\" data-event-click=\"{&quot;element&quot;:&quot;ExternalLink&quot;,&quot;outgoingURL&quot;:&quot;https:\/\/www.wsbtv.com\/video\/local-video\/investigation-people-practicing-santeria-may-be-dumping-headless-goats-chattahoochee\/e938f6a8-45d0-4317-bb18-9b18560c49ea\/&quot;}\">theory<\/a> about the headless goats of the Chattahoochee focuses on the Afro-Caribbean religious tradition Santer\u00eda, also known as Lukum\u00ed and La Regla de Ocha. The practice sometimes involves animal sacrifice. A similar theory was floated several years ago, when numerous goat heads turned up in and around Prospect Park, in Brooklyn. In both cases, no one has established a definitive connection, at least not publicly.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>When he was directed by Georgia authorities to Robert Almonte, a retired deputy chief of the El Paso Police Department who worked a number of narcotics investigations and has since founded a consulting company that specializes in the activities of Mexican drug cartels, Almonte explained that the perpetrators were probably drug traffickers who \u201cinvolve the spiritual world in their activities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall\">&#8220;I told Almonte about what was turning up in the Chattahoochee,&#8221; says the writer. &#8220;He didn\u2019t sound surprised. &#8216;I\u2019m seeing more and more of the drug traffickers using Santer\u00eda for protection over the last couple of years,&#8217; he said. &#8216;But that\u2019s a lot of goats. She said her next-door neighbor was a witch who practiced Santer\u00eda among other things and was constantly cursing her and her house &#8212; even putting a skull on a post and pointing it in her direction.\u00a0The besieged woman tried to grow hedges to blot out the neighbor, but the neighbor reported her to the community board, which made her trim the hedges in accordance with code, exposing her to the occultist and the occultist&#8217;s friends.<\/p>\n<p>Prayer need. Pray for her. Let us all pray for each other.<\/p>\n<p>Rosary in hand, let us take turf back from the enemy.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, October: the Month of the Rosary.<\/p>\n<p>But according to a former Satanist, occultists perform rituals for the entire month.
