The Bible suggests that the “less awake” generation will suffer a great test<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Bible announces a great test for humanity, in which the evil one will have uncontested power throughout the world.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

And it will be at the time when the least awake generation of all is alive.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This process is underway; the minions of the evil one have been acting for decades to numb the population and exacerbate their animal instincts to control it.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Psychological manipulation through the media is increasingly notorious.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

But have we become the “least-awake” generation in history?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Here we will talk about biblical prophecy, about the great test that will come to humanity at the time of the least-awake generation of all, about how the henchmen of the evil one have been numbing civilization, what revolution they are making in morals, and what protection we have before this change that they are making.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We are living the last hour of history from the moment that Our Lord ascended to Heaven.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

All history after that is the expectation of His return.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

That is why we call these last two thousand years the last days.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

But\u00a0Jesus tells us of a time in the indefinite future when all mankind will face great darkness and great trial.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Chapter 24 of the Gospel of Matthew is the most detailed part of the Gospels in which Jesus tells us about what is to come.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

And in Luke 17 he tells us,\u00a0\u201cAnd as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be again in the days of the Son of Man. They ate, they drank, they took a wife or a husband, until the day that Noah entered the ark; and the deluge came, which destroyed them all.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In other words, the Lord is referring to a carefree generation — apostate and the least awake to reality, which will meet with the wrath of God, with the purification of civilization suddenly, and with the destruction of much of the evil in the world.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The last book of the Bible, the Apocalypse, speaks in symbolic form of what that period of history will be like, the time during which we will be tested, and where the Church herself will be crucially humbled and purified throughout the world.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Clearly\u00a0at that time, men will have a very comfortable existence, more “well-being” than the generations that preceded them.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

And that will push them not to obey and instead to rebel against the word of God.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Currently, it seems that we are in the midst of this time of the Apocalypse, where the new hero is the autonomous individual who answers to no one but his sovereign ego, with all the pretense of a little god.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

But this will be<\/span> just a manipulated illusion.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In this exaltation of a creature above the authority of God is the spirit of antichrist.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Few believers in this religion of the ego imagine that they are serving this evil spirit.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

But the truth is that anyone who denies that Jesus is Lord of their life makes themselves vulnerable to the spirit of the world<\/em>.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

And the reality is that our generation has given up believing or trusting in this God who became man and who suffered with us to elevate us to the Father.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The main minions of the antichrist are the few who know this; they are the only ones who foresee the terrible cataclysm of the “change in values” that is underway.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Just as the entire human history of past centuries depended on the certainty that God exists, the evil plan is that future centuries will depend on the opposite certainty: that God does not exist.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

And what does this imply?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

That\u00a0there is no longer an absolute moral order, there are no longer absolutes external to the subjectivity of man, and there is no longer any infallible criterion of good or evil by which we can discern whether our actions are morally good or morally bad.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

And in such a situation, what prevents us from simply reshaping humanity according to our human whims and theories?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

What prevents us from considering a certain part of humanity as less human than another part of that same humanity and, therefore, unworthy of life?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In 1931 Aldous Huxley published his great work “Brave New World”, where he warned that the moment was approaching, which he still believed was distant, in which a new world order would be established, and that moment would abolish privacy and personal responsibility.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

But writing in 1958 (Return to a Brave New World<\/em>), he declared himself convinced that the predictions he had made in 1931 were coming true at a rate much faster than he thought possible.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In the near future, he warned, we will witness the rise of a “scientific dictatorship” in which there will be less violence than under Hitler and Stalin. But in which we will be “painlessly recruited by a corps of highly skilled social engineers.” <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

And in which “the underlying substance will be a new type of nonviolent totalitarianism.”<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
