These are ways of disquiet\u00ading us and of arranging circumstances that will likely stir us to commit deadly sins of pride, greed, anger, envy, lust, gluttony, and sloth.<\/p>\n<p>In his excellent book<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bookstore.spiritdaily.com\/search?q=the+devil+you+don%27t\">\u00a0<em>The Devil You Don\u2019t Know<\/em>,<\/a> <\/span>Fr. Louis Cameli articulates four ordinary, common means of diabolical temptation: deception, division, diversion, and discouragement. In my experience, we could add distance, destruction, disobedi\u00adence, and duplicity. Below, I\u2019ll demonstrate these and other ordi\u00adnary demonic.\u00a0The goal of temptation is to entice us to commit sin. If we sin,\u00a0<em>the responsibility is ours<\/em>, not the devil\u2019s, because grace is always suf\u00adficient to avoid sin.
