Note that the God of<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">peace, who exhorts us to love our enemies, does not arbitrarily<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">require us literally to hate or abandon those dearest to us. But if we<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">are to love our enemies, it must be in accordance with right reason<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">that, by analogy we should also love our nearest relatives&#8230; But<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">insofar as one&#8217;s father, or son, or brother, becomes for you a<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">hindrance to faith or an impediment to godly life, one should then not<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">collude with that temptation.
