The highly informative and interesting social media site Quora<\/a>,<\/span> <\/em>whereby members pose questions (and get tons of answers), recently had one from a viewer named Brenda Griffith, “wife, mom, and grandmom,” who asked:<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

“Have you ever witnessed a soul leaving a person\u2019s body as they passed away?”<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

And started the thread by saying, “If my oldest daughter hadn’t been there with me to witness this at the time, I probably wouldn’t believe it myself.\u00a0My mom had been in the hospital for two weeks after being diagnosed with stage-four breast cancer just seven months earlier.<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

“The night she passed, she had been heavily sedated and placed in the comfort-care unit.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

“My oldest daughter and I were staying the night with her. My daughter woke me in a panic, saying something was going on with my mom. It turns out she was taking her final breaths.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

“As soon as she took her final breath, my daughter and I saw a yellow-orange glowing light at the top of her head. I couldn’t wrap my head around what I was looking at. We looked at each other shocked and confused. Then the light just shrank into nothing. It was gone. You would expect that we would be crying and upset but there was a feeling of peace and calm in the room. It was the weirdest thing. I believe we witnessed her soul leave her body. That’s something I’ll never forget as long as I live.”<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

A former engineer in Zambia Copper Mines named <\/span>Leighton Davies weighed in with his account.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

“Yes,” he wrote, “when my wife was passing away, I held her [very] cold right hand with my right hand, and a cloudy, very visible white fog spread from her fingers and hand to my fingers and hand.I knew at this time she was passing her soul to me,the signal to hold on and also to let her go in peace with the love we had for sixty-three years. This was eleven months ago (07\/22\/2023). I have had many signs and visions since. I believe a hundred percent she is still with me, caring and supporting me in my grief, preparing my place to join her in Heaven.”<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

My daughter had one hand and I had the other. Mom had been unconscious for almost three days after a stroke; not a movement in all that time. <\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

“Suddenly she sat up halfway and blew out a loud final breath, as I watched it looked like shimmering water in reverse going up to the ceiling. Almost like a mirage sparkling the air. My daughter looked at me and asked what that was. I was thinking I imagined it until she said that. I knew then we both saw it and it was very real. I am not super-religious, but I know what I saw. It comforted me knowing that I saw her leave.”<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

Rica Osburn: <\/span><\/strong>“I was holding my sister’s hand as she was dying,” she said. “I saw a beautiful white gold light rise up from her upper body. It was so glorious, I knew I was looking at her soul leaving this earth. The light traveled at an angle and then faded away. I feel that I was given a great gift,and took it as a profound sign that we are eternal!<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

I remember the day vividly because everything I thought was true was turned on its head. I witnessed what I perceived as a ball of energy come out of my grandmother’s body. It hovered over her body in front of me for it seemed like a minute and then it floated through the hospital window and up into the sky.
