Flying the largest Sacred Heart of Jesus flag again in 2025<\/a><\/h1>\n<\/div>\n

June is the month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. From Franciscan Media on the\u00a0“Sacred Heart of Jesus: A Symbol of Love and Mercy”<\/a> we read:<\/p>\n

Devotion to the Sacred Heart is devotion to Jesus and his love. It is a sign or a symbol of both the divine and human love that Jesus has for his Father and for us. It also symbolizes the interior life of Jesus which led to his willingness to lay down his life for us. It is a symbol based on our belief in the Incarnation\u2014a firm belief that the second person of the Blessed Trinity became human with all the feelings, emotions, and desires we usually associate with the human heart. It is that human heart\u2014directly united to the divine person\u2014which expresses God\u2019s love in a human way perfectly and purely since Jesus is free from sin.<\/p>\n

The heart is an apt symbol, but there is something more than a symbol at work here. There is the very real love of Jesus for the world, a love that wells up from both the divine as well as the human natures of Jesus. Devotion to the Sacred Heart in grounded not just in symbol, but in real love.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Last year a video was posted about the largest Sacred Heart flag in the world. It was made by\u00a0TradFlags.com,\u00a0<\/a>and the flying of the 30-foot by 50-foot wide flag was sponsored by a Bavarian Waste company in Walton, Kentucky.\u00a0Bavarian<\/a>\u00a0is the family and business name.<\/p>\n

The owner of the company is Catholic and believes that displaying different flags throughout the year is a way to celebrate the faith and evangelize. We fully agree and share with our readers the 2024 video showing the installation of the first time the Sacred Heart of Jesus flag flew. It records a wonderful event, more so surely for those present. Praise the Lord!<\/p>\n
