But <a title=\"https:\/\/www.barna.com\/research\/young-adults-lead-resurgence-in-church-attendance\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.barna.com\/research\/young-adults-lead-resurgence-in-church-attendance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">new research<\/a>\u00a0from Barna Group suggests that pattern has flipped.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Millennials and Generation Z are now attending church more often than their parents and grandparents.\u00a0The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.barna.com\/research\/young-adults-lead-resurgence-in-church-attendance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">State of the Church<\/a>\u00a0study, conducted in partnership with the tech company Gloo, found that Gen Z churchgoers (ages 18\u201328) now average 1.9 services per month while millennials (ages 29\u201344) come in at 1.8 times. That comes out to roughly 23 visits a year for Gen Z and 22 for millennials.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"> <em> <strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deseret.com\/faith\/2025\/09\/03\/gen-z-millenials-faith-church-attendance\/\">[For Full Story<\/a><\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mywabashvalley.com\/federal-executions\/william-lecroy-executed-at-u-s-penitentiary\/\">]<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>From Barna study:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>New research from Barna Group, as part of their ongoing\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/stateofthechurch.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i>State of the Church<\/i><\/a>\u00a0initiative with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gloo.com\/about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gloo<\/a>, reveals a surprising shift: Millennials and Gen Z are driving a resurgence in church attendance.
