William McCasland disappeared<\/a>\u00a0under eerily similar circumstances \u2014 and the two had a close professional connection.<\/p>\n<p>Monica Reza went missing on the morning of June 22, 2025, in the Angeles National Forest while hiking with two experienced companions who were exploring the popular\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hikespeak.com\/trails\/mt-waterman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mount Waterman Trail<\/a>, according to a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/733624205862631\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook page<\/a> dedicated to finding her.
