{"id":81788,"date":"2026-03-28T09:59:15","date_gmt":"2026-03-28T13:59:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/spiritdaily.org\/blog\/?p=81788"},"modified":"2026-03-28T09:59:15","modified_gmt":"2026-03-28T13:59:15","slug":"jd-vance-reveals-what-he-thinks-ufos-are","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spiritdaily.org\/blog\/jd-vance-reveals-what-he-thinks-ufos-are\/","title":{"rendered":"JD Vance Reveals What He Thinks UFOs Are"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From <em>Newsweek<\/em>:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/topic\/vice-president\">Vice President<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/topic\/jd-vance\">JD Vance<\/a>\u00a0discussed his views on UFOs in a new interview with conservative podcaster Benny Johnson on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview on\u00a0<em>The Benny Show\u00a0<\/em>Friday, Vance said he was \u201cobsessed\u201d with the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/topic\/ufo\">UFO<\/a> filings when he came into office but has ended up getting \u201creally busy worrying about the economy and national security and things like that.\u201d He pledged to \u201cget to the bottom of the UFO files\u201d over the remainder of his time in office. \u201cI&#8217;m obsessed with this,\u201d Vance said. \u201cI&#8217;ve already had a couple of times where I&#8217;m like, all right, we&#8217;re going to Area 51, we&#8217;re going out to New Mexico. We&#8217;re going to sort of get to the bottom of this. And then the timing of the trip just didn&#8217;t work out. But trust me, anybody who&#8217;s curious about this, I&#8217;m more curious than anybody. And I&#8217;ve got three years of the very tippy top of the classification.
