\u201cSo do you think the United States specifically, where you live, is under greater demonic attack than it has been?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHistorically, yes.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And then Father Ripperger continues with the specific line about the U.S. ceding territory:<\/p>\n

\u201cSo when they\u2014 in the United States, when they shot down the anti-fornication laws and then plus you have all the problems with pornography and that type of thing as freedom of expression and all that. Once they allowed that, they ceded the territory to Baal.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Another closely related excerpt, where he speaks more directly about demons gaining influence over people in power in American public life:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you see people that go into positions of power, that attracts the demons because they know, \u2018If I can get control of this guy, then I can basically use his power that he has to cause all this other damage or to take other people down.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cBut when you\u2019re talking about politics or in the civil affairs where power is involved, sometimes people go in with the right intentions, but then they get corrupted afterwards because the demons start \u2014 when you get that high profile, the demons are going to be really spending a lot of time and energy trying to take you down.\u201d<\/p>\n
