Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro of the Catholic Diocese of Lokoja has reportedly been killed by unknown gunmen in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Samuel Oyetoro, a Catholic priest serving at St. Mary\u2019s Catholic Church in Egbe, Kogi state, has been found dead by the roadside with multiple machete wounds.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe incident is confirmed. On 29th July 2026, at about 9:30 a.m., the police received information that the lifeless body of an unidentified male was found by the roadside along Church Road, Ajaokuta,\u201d Ovye-Aya said.
