The study followed more than 1,000 patients with SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes the disease. None had received a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/03\/27\/health\/what-happens-to-your-baby-if-you-get-the-covid-shot-in-pregnancy\/\">coronavirus vaccine<\/a> at the time.
