He was swiftly condemned by many, while the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/sports\/nfl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-omtr-intcmp=\"fnc_outkick-sports_article_main-content_article-body_6_1\">NFL<\/a>\u00a0rushed to distance themselves from those views and reaffirm their commitment to wokeness.<\/p>\n<p data-layout-index=\"5\">Still, in a great credit to their organization, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/sports\/nfl\/kansas-city-chiefs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-omtr-intcmp=\"fnc_outkick-sports_article_main-content_article-body_6_2\">Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> stuck by him while others may have immediately cut him to avoid angering the sports media mob. And they&#8217;re likely glad they did. The 31-year-old in 2025 made 33 of 38 field goal attempts with a long of 59.
