While there has been an overwhelming outpouring of affection for Dolly Parton in the wake of her death, there are also detractors, from a mayor who opposed the lowering flags to half staff (which he feels should be reserved for public officials and military heroes) to those who claim\u2014in a way that is hardly indisputable\u2014that she had at least a fleetingly dark side.<\/p>\n
Below<\/em> an image taken from a video that certainly looks like the late country superstar was flashing a witchy hand symbol. But it’s difficult to tell if indeed it was something surreptitious or simply that the camera still caught Parton simply closing her hand in a way that for less than the tick of a clock left two fingers in a devilish salute.<\/p>\n Here’s a clip from Facebook (see the entire sequence here<\/a> if you have a Facebook account). It seems like a bit of a stretch (that Dolly is giving a satanic signal), but you can decide.
