The only thing that is impossible to describe is her beauty.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> Perhaps you forgot one detail, though I never forgot it. What does she have around her head?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\"><b data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> A crown of 12 stars.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7\"><b data-path-to-node=\"7\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> What are those stars like?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\"><b data-path-to-node=\"8\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> They are real, beautiful stars. Marija, Ivanka, and Milka went to fetch the sheep near the place where Sister Elvira&#8217;s community is today. Later that afternoon, I decided to go out for a walk to look for them. A moment later, I saw Marija, Ivanka, and Milka standing there looking up into the distance. I was overwhelmed by a sudden, intense fear. I ran home and thought to myself, I&#8217;m not going to tell anyone about this. But I had seen Our Lady on that first day together with them from a distance.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"12\">After I got home, Ivan, our fellow visionary, came by with his cousin. When his cousin left, I said to Ivan, &#8220;They are saying they saw Our Lady. Come with me so we can look together.&#8221; We went back, and the moment Ivan looked up towards Apparition Hill, he turned around and ran home too. Then I ran home again, too. When I got back, I decided I wouldn&#8217;t say a word to anyone. Tomorrow we will go back; if Our Lady appears, we will talk about it, but if she doesn&#8217;t, we won&#8217;t say anything.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13\">The next day, Jakov and Marija said to me, &#8220;Vicka, if Our Lady comes today, call us so we can go with you.&#8221; Jakov was at Marija&#8217;s house at the time. That afternoon, Marija, Ivanka, Marija, and I went out together for another walk. Ivan wasn&#8217;t there yet. We went back near the same spot as the evening before, and Our Lady was already there waiting for us. I ran over to Marija&#8217;s house to call Jakov and Marija.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"14\">When we all arrived, Our Lady gestured with her hand for us to come closer. You have to understand, at that time Podbrdo was covered in rough, sharp stones with no path at all. Yet we rushed up and arrived directly in front of Our Lady. That was June 25th, the day all six of us visionaries were gathered near Our Lady for the first time.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"15\">The following day, we returned to the same spot. She repeated, &#8220;I am the Blessed Virgin. Do not be afraid.&#8221; Then step by step she began teaching us how to pray. The very first prayer she asked us to recite was seven Our Fathers, Hail Marys, and Glory Bees.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"16\"><b data-path-to-node=\"16\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> So you have been praying together from the very beginning.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"17\"><b data-path-to-node=\"17\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> Yes, since the third day. It&#8217;s an interesting story. On that third day before I went up to Podbrdo, my grandmother said to me, &#8220;Vicka, take a glass of holy water. When Our Lady appears, sprinkle her and make the sign of the cross, saying, &#8216;If you are Our Lady, stay with us. If not, go away.'&#8221; So I took the holy water and splashed it towards her. But as soon as the water went towards Our Lady, it immediately splashed right back off.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"18\"><b data-path-to-node=\"18\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> Did Our Lady leave?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"19\"><b data-path-to-node=\"19\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> No. The water bounced away, and Our Lady just smiled at me. She smiled because I hadn&#8217;t just sprinkled a little\u2014I threw a whole lot of water at her. As she smiled, the water fell away.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"20\"><b data-path-to-node=\"20\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> What did your parents say about all this at the beginning?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"21\"><b data-path-to-node=\"21\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> My father was working in Germany at the time. When I told my mother and sisters about Our Lady, they were naturally skeptical. Nobody believes something like that immediately, and honestly, I understood them. Even when I saw Our Lady myself, I thought, &#8220;Vicka, it&#8217;s impossible that Our Lady would appear to you. This is something far too great.&#8221; But Our Lady kept coming and praying with us day after day. We became completely certain that she was truly among us.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"22\"><b data-path-to-node=\"22\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> So while your parents doubted at first, they eventually supported you.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"23\"><b data-path-to-node=\"23\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> Of course. Since I had doubted initially myself, it was only natural for them to have doubts too before coming to believe.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"24\"><b data-path-to-node=\"24\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> How did the rest of the village react?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"25\"><b data-path-to-node=\"25\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> They reacted very well. Naturally, people needed to have their own personal experience, so they began coming up the mountain every day to pray with us. The entire village was completely transformed. Nearly everyone came to believe.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"26\"><b data-path-to-node=\"26\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> Tell us about when the communist authorities came to detain and interrogate you. Were you frightened?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"27\"><b data-path-to-node=\"27\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> When the police came to take us in, they kept telling us, &#8220;Enough with these foolish lies.&#8221; But since I was the oldest among the visionaries, I spoke right back to them. The officer said to me, &#8220;Since you talk so much, we have a room downstairs full of crazy people, and we&#8217;re going to throw you in with them.&#8221; I told him, &#8220;I&#8217;m not afraid of anything you say. Say whatever you want; I am ready to answer.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"28\">Then he told me, &#8220;Your father is working in Germany right now. When he comes back, we will confiscate his passport so he cannot go back to work.&#8221; I replied, &#8220;That&#8217;s no problem. We will live just like everyone else here does. No problem at all. For Our Lady, we are ready to endure anything.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"29\">Then he threatened again, &#8220;We&#8217;re going to lock you downstairs in the cell with the thieves and criminals.&#8221; I said, &#8220;Go ahead. Lock me up and let the other visionaries go. Put me in jail, no problem.&#8221; When he called us crazy, I just told him, &#8220;There are people far crazier than me, so go right ahead.&#8221; They called us in many times to provoke us, but thank God we made it through everything. Our Lady helped us and was always present with us.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"30\"><b data-path-to-node=\"30\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> How did Father Jozo, the parish priest, react at the time?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"31\"><b data-path-to-node=\"31\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> Father Jozo wasn&#8217;t in Medjugorje during those initial days. He was near Zagreb leading a retreat for nuns. When people first told him that Our Lady was appearing in his parish, he didn&#8217;t believe it right away. He probably thought the communists had made it up to cause trouble. But when he returned, he told the people, &#8220;It is good to go to the mountain, but you must also come to church, because Jesus is truly alive in the Blessed Sacrament.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"32\">Then one day, while praying alone in the church, he heard an interior voice telling him that he needed to protect us children. Our Lady spoke to his heart, and people say he eventually saw Our Lady himself. Though if you want the details of that, it&#8217;s best to ask him directly.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"33\"><b data-path-to-node=\"33\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> What went through your mind as the apparitions kept continuing month after month, year after year?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"34\"><b data-path-to-node=\"34\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> Honestly, I didn&#8217;t analyze it or worry about it. My only thought was to listen to whatever Our Lady wanted. Whenever she decides it&#8217;s time to stop, I will listen to that, too.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"35\"><b data-path-to-node=\"35\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> How did you begin speaking to the pilgrims? There was a time when you spent your entire day from morning until evening talking to groups on your front steps.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"36\"><b data-path-to-node=\"36\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> Even today I can tell you that I miss the pilgrims very much. Whatever small suffering or limitation God asks of me right now, I accept it. But standing on those steps talking to people was the most beautiful thing. It was wonderful to share Our Lady&#8217;s message, her love, and her peace, and to watch people grow in faith.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"37\"><b data-path-to-node=\"37\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> Where did you find the strength to stand on those steps from morning till night without even stopping to eat?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"38\"><b data-path-to-node=\"38\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> God and Our Lady gave me that strength. It certainly didn&#8217;t come from me. In the morning, I would drink a quick cup of coffee, stand outside all day, and only return inside in the evening. Whether I ate or not, I felt completely fine.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"39\"><b data-path-to-node=\"39\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> You also went through intense physical trials during those years. I remember that for three or four days every month you would fall into a state of severe suffering and physical immobility. Why did Our Lady ask that of you?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"40\"><b data-path-to-node=\"40\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> Our Lady requested it in that specific way because she needed offering and victimhood to cooperate through personal suffering for the salvation of souls. Our Lady asked for it where the need was greatest. Over the years, I&#8217;ve had many surgeries and health challenges. But I always pray: &#8220;Lord, Our Lady, I thank you with all my heart. If you still have suffering for me to offer, I&#8217;m ready to take it. Just give me the strength and courage to keep going.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"41\"><b data-path-to-node=\"41\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> Few people realize that while you were a missionary of Mary here in Medjugorje, you also traveled all over the world. Where have you traveled?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"42\"><b data-path-to-node=\"42\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> Oh, I have been to so many parts of the world. I went to Africa for 40 days with Father Slavko. We visited Johannesburg and several Franciscan mission parishes. Then a woman who was a pilot arranged a private plane so we could travel into central Africa. Father Slavko, Father Vjeko, a local missionary priest who translated for us, and I went together.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"43\">That trip to central Africa was the most beautiful journey of my entire life. When you see how those people live, yet experience the immense joy and inner peace they hold even though they lack material goods, it changes you. I remember one moment out of a tiny home under a simple roof, 12 children came walking out. Father Slavko warned me, &#8220;Vicka, don&#8217;t wander too far off. You never know about diseases.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"44\">Then a young boy rode past on a bicycle carrying bundles of wood to sell at the market. That evening, when we returned, I saw the boy again and noticed he hadn&#8217;t sold a single piece of wood. I asked him, &#8220;Look, you still have everything. You didn&#8217;t sell anything today.&#8221; He looked at me with radiant happiness and said, &#8220;There is always tomorrow. Don&#8217;t worry.&#8221; I thought to myself, look at how happy this child is. They may have no material possessions, but they have everything that matters. They have pure joy, deep peace, and living faith. God provides for them with bananas and fruits growing along the paths. And when they dress for church, they are so clean, organized, and sing with such heartfelt joy. I haven&#8217;t seen that kind of pure joy in our modern Western world in a long time.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"45\"><b data-path-to-node=\"45\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> So you were a true missionary in Africa, holding public apparitions for massive crowds. Where else did you travel?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"46\"><b data-path-to-node=\"46\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> I have been to the Holy Land about 10 times.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"47\"><b data-path-to-node=\"47\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> What was it like being in the land where Our Lady actually lived?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"48\"><b data-path-to-node=\"48\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> It was a deeply special emotion. Our Lady was visibly happy when we were there. It was her homeland, and she imparted a very special joy and grace during those apparitions.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"49\"><b data-path-to-node=\"49\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> You also visited Brazil, right?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"50\"><b data-path-to-node=\"50\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> Yes. About five times we went to S\u00e3o Paulo and various other places to help open communities. I&#8217;ve also traveled extensively across Europe\u2014Spain, France, Germany, Austria\u2014and many times to the United States.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"51\"><b data-path-to-node=\"51\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> Four or five times in the past, Our Lady asked you to make a special sacrifice by refraining from seeing the daily apparitions for a full month. Why did she ask this, and how did you feel about it?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"52\"><b data-path-to-node=\"52\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> I never asked questions to her about why. My role is simply to obey, listen, and spend that month praying even more intensely.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"53\"><b data-path-to-node=\"53\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> Did it sadden you to go a month without seeing her?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"54\"><b data-path-to-node=\"54\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> Not at all, Father Livio. Whatever Our Lady asks is never a source of sadness for me; it is a joy. She replied, &#8220;Are you already tired of me?&#8221; Since that day, I promised myself I would never ask that question again.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"61\"><b data-path-to-node=\"61\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> The visionaries have described the permanent sign that Our Lady will leave on Apparition Hill. Have you seen this sign in a vision?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"62\"><b data-path-to-node=\"62\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> No, I haven&#8217;t seen the sign myself. But I know that Our Lady has said about it that it will be beautiful, permanent, indestructible, and will remain on the hill until the end of the world.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"63\"><b data-path-to-node=\"63\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> However, you were physically taken by Our Lady to see heaven, purgatory, and hell, right?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"64\"><b data-path-to-node=\"64\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> Yes, that is true. We are only taking a brief walk here on earth.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"65\"><b data-path-to-node=\"65\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> What would you say to people who claim there is no afterlife and that everything ends with death?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"66\"><b data-path-to-node=\"66\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> One afternoon, Jakov and I were at Jakov&#8217;s house when Our Lady appeared and said, &#8220;Come with me now.&#8221; Jakov said to her, &#8220;Our Lady, please take Vicka. She has many brothers and sisters, but I am an only child.&#8221; He thought we were dying and would never return. Our Lady took my right hand and Jakov&#8217;s left hand. The ceiling of the room opened up, and in an instant, we were transported to heaven.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"67\">We saw a vast space filled with a brilliant light that doesn&#8217;t exist on earth. We saw people who all appeared perfect, neither thin nor fat. They wore robes in three colors: gray, yellow, and red. Our Lady didn&#8217;t explain the meaning of the colors, but she said, &#8220;Look at how happy and joyful these souls are.&#8221; The joy in heaven is indescribable and never ends.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"68\">In purgatory, you don&#8217;t see distinct people, but rather a thick, heavy mist where souls are suffering. Our Lady urged us to pray constantly for the souls in purgatory because our prayers can help lift them into heaven.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"69\">In hell, we first saw a massive fire. People who entered the fire came out transformed into terrifying, animal-like creatures. You could hear constant blasphemies, screams, and cursing. Our Lady told us that those in hell went there by their own free will. People who live on earth entirely against God&#8217;s will begin living a kind of hell here, which simply continues into eternity after death.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"70\">There is a vast fire where souls are transformed into hideous forms while shrieking terrible blasphemies. Our Lady emphasized that no one is sent to hell against their choice. Souls go there entirely through their own free choice. Many people foolishly believe that life simply ends at physical death. Our Lady says that is a massive mistake. Life continues beyond the grave.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"71\"><b data-path-to-node=\"71\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> What should we say to Christians or priests who deny the existence of hell?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"72\"><b data-path-to-node=\"72\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> They can deny it all they want, but hell is real, eternal, and irreversible. Once a soul is there, they never leave. That is why we must pray earnestly while on earth to reach heaven. Only those who explicitly reject God and choose evil end up in hell.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"73\"><b data-path-to-node=\"73\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> Given the current state of the world with growing threats to peace, wars, and widespread loss of faith, how does Our Lady view our future?<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"74\"><b data-path-to-node=\"74\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Vicka:<\/b> Her concern is evident. Yet, even amid her concern, she always maintains a smile of radiant hope. When she sees the peace of the world being destroyed, she reminds us that human words and political debates accomplish nothing. The only true weapon we have is prayer from the heart. Peace must first begin within our own hearts and families before it can spread to the world.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"75\"><b data-path-to-node=\"75\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Father Livio:<\/b> Exactly. Our Lady asks for peace in our hearts, peace in our families, and peace in our communities. If we pray for global peace while harboring anger and conflict within our own hearts, those prayers are empty.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"76\">Some visionaries like Mirjana know the exact dates when the 10 secrets will begin.
