The weather service had issued multiple warnings during the <span class=\"LinkEnhancement\"><a class=\"Link AnClick-LinkEnhancement\" style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/hub\/weather?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" data-gtm-enhancement-style=\"LinkEnhancementA\">severe thunderstorms<\/a><\/span>.
