A man is sharing his harrowing story of reportedly\u00a0visiting heaven\u00a0after nearly dying as the result of a severe allergic reaction.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Steven Musick, author of the new book, \u201cLife After Heaven: How My Time in Heaven Can Transform Your Life on Earth\u201d<\/em>[available at bottom] told Faithwire earlier this year about a\u00a0major reaction he had to the\u00a0swine flu vaccine years ago while he was in the Navy. It was an experience\u00a0that forever changed his perspective, and his life.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s pretty typical when you\u2019re in the military to be vaccinated against all kinds of various diseases and bugs \u2026 you have\u00a0to do that in order to be deployed,\u201d\u00a0Musick said. \u201cI was allergic to the swine fly vaccine that they were testing and I had a very violent, dramatic reaction.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

While he survived that reaction and tried to shake off the resulting impact it had on his body, he was sick for months after the shot was given, saying\u00a0that he never \u201cgot over the hump toward health.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

And when a nurse\u00a0months later attempted to give him an antidote to the vaccine,\u00a0Musick had yet another horrible\u00a0allergic reaction \u2014 and this time it was life threatening.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c[She had given me] a lethal amount of an allergic contagion directly into my blood stream,\u201d he said. \u201cI passed out in the emergency department and I ended up in a coma for five weeks.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It was during that five-week period that\u00a0Musick said he \u201cwent to heaven\u201d and met Jesus, detailing the sights, sounds and conversations he claims to have\u00a0had with Christ.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe most dramatic part for me of heaven itself was the sense of being inside pure joy,\u201d he recalled, explaining that the intensity of contentedness that he felt didn\u2019t ebb and flow as it does on Earth; instead, it was constant. \u201cThere\u2019s nothing that I could tell you today that would give you an inking of what it\u2019s like\u00a0to be in that place.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

Musick continued, \u201cIt\u2019s being absolutely held tight and yet totally free at the same time.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

He also described\u00a0all of his memories of the sights he recalls from heaven, saying he was in an outdoors or agrarian environment that included\u00a0a large oak tree, a massive\u00a0wheat field, rolling hills and mountains. Musick said it\u00a0all collectively offered up a \u201cwonderful view\u201d filled with \u201cbrilliant\u201d scenes, adding that it was \u201clike HD on steroids.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

But it was Musick\u2019s purported\u00a0interaction with Jesus that might capture\u00a0the most attention, as he\u00a0said the two walked arm-in-arm\u00a0and engaged in conversation.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cJesus was in his early 30s, long flowing brunette hair, hazel eyes, dark complexion,\u201d he said. \u201cHe\u2019s not overly large, but he\u2019s massively built. You would think that he\u2019s a weightlifter, a body builder.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<\/section>\n

In the end,\u00a0Musick said it was \u201cpainful\u201d to hear Jesus say that he wouldn\u2019t be able to stay in heaven. Immediately after that conversation, he said he woke up in intensive care and was hit with the reality that he would be staying on Earth.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen he said, \u2018You can\u2019t stay,\u2019 I woke up in intensive care isolation \u2026 it was not my destiny to stay in heaven at that time,\u201d he said. \u201cThe contrast between heaven and here is just so stark that it leaves you delusional.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

After waking up,\u00a0Musick learned that he had been in a coma for five weeks \u2014 a fact that left him\u00a0flabbergasted.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

And coming back wasn\u2019t exactly all that easy, considering Musick was disabled for years, describing his body as \u201cbroken.\u201d Over time, though, he recovered, never forgetting the experiences he claims to have had in heaven. Years after his harrowing ordeal, he\u2019s now speaking out, sharing his story in \u201cLife After Heaven.<\/em>\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s no reason that I should be there,\u201d he said, adding that nurses assumed he\u2019d never wake up. That said, Musick firmly believes \u201cthere\u2019s a reason\u201d that he\u2019s still here.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
