Prophecy That Seemed To Forecast Cloning Also Foresaw Regional Disasters
By Michael H. Brown
It will happen -- barring miraculous intervention -- in the next few years. Somewhere in the Caribbean or China or in a hidden little lab in some unexpected corner of the world the first homo sapien will be cloned. Mankind will have become creator. There will be the first artificial human. What will he or she or it look like? Will the first cloned human (or humans, for odds are a batch will be spawned at once) be normal? Will they have gross birth defects? Will they have souls? Will they be paraded around on television?
It will be a brave new world and if indeed this scenario takes place a disastrous one. The disasters we have seen burbling in various parts of the world will grow and spread and intensify until there is an extremely unusual and terrifying event.
And then a series of them.
Gradually, through the onset of disasters that mankind has not seen since the Middle Ages, our society will be reduced and broken down and hopefully not destroyed.
On December 3, 1990 there was an anonymous prophecy that we have been watching. It said at that time that within four years there would arise "a new evil the likes of which mankind has never before encountered. It will arrive almost imperceptibly, with few people noticing the depth of its evil, for it will appear to have beneficial and convenient aspects."
What was the new evil? In recent weeks we have been barraged with mail, some from scientists, documenting that 1994 was a highly pivotal year for research into both stem cells and cloning [see previous story]. This certainly seemed to fulfill to prediction of a new evil similar to abortion that would appear to be beneficial. Stem cells and cloning are seen by many as the answer to serious illnesses.
But that was hardly the end of the predictions. Right after was a warning that mankind's response to this new evil would determine the "extent, length, and severity of the first chastisements." "These chastisements will differ according to regions, and like the great evil, will not always or usually be immediately noticeable for what they are," said the prophecy.
In other words, the world was going to face regional chastisements that would evolve into much larger ones. This is dramatic because it's another part of the prophecy that has now materialized. Indeed, the current upsurge in natural disasters can be traced to a period that began right at the time of this prophecy -- to be precise, 1989, when an earthquake shook the modern Babylon of San Francisco.
That event was followed in quick succession by:
-- a brutal wildfire that caused $1 billion in damage in Oakland (1991)
-- the worst hurricane, Hurricane Andrew, with $30 billion damage (1992)
-- an historic hurricane on Kau'ai, Hawaii (1992)
-- the massive flooding of the Mississippi in 1993
-- the L.A. quake less than a year later
-- the onset of record El Ninos, causing general weather mayhem in various parts of the world (1991-1997)
-- record "northeasters" on the East Coast during the 1990s, as well as the 'perfect storm"
-- in 1998 an absolutely unprecedented ice storm in Canada
You get the picture. Floods, hurricanes, epidemics. Since the prophecy every part of the world has begun to suffer its own particular events. In 1999 the longest drought on the East Coast in decades was followed by great wildfires in the West -- and then barrages of rain. There were floods in China and India -- as well as quakes -- that affected tens of millions. In Canada the government's meteorological agency called the disasters events "of biblical proportion." Indeed, since the time of the prophecy America has suffered seven of its top ten natural disasters of all-time, even adjusting for inflation and change of value in the dollar. One of the worlds leading insurers, Munich Re, says that disasters have tripled in number since the 1960s and have cost nine times as much, again adjusting for change in dollar value. Since the 1990 prophecy there have been at least 38 weather-related disasters that cost over a billion.
This is only the start. Such disasters -- Hurricane Floyd, the L.A. quake, the Mississippi flood -- are but precursors. If we clone humans or violate God's will with stem cells we'll see the greatest storms in recorded U.S. history hit places like Florida and the Gulf Coast followed within months or years or a decade by remarkable quakes and epidemics. For all we know, they could be separated by just days.
Somewhere in the world, such events will come as the "warnings" in the secrets of Medjugorje -- followed by much larger disasters.
[Next week we'll investigate the next part of the prophecy: "In the period also will be a warning that involves not fire from the sky but fear of fire from the sky, and strange loud rumblings," said the alleged revelation.]
