Are There Angels 'From East To West,' And Has A 'Timetable' Been Set In Motion?
Alleged prophecy:
By Michael H. Brown
We are in a serious time. There is no reason to fear. There is also no reason to ignore the facts. Naturally, events draw "closer." No one knows how close is close. It is a mistake to place time-tables. God wants us to have a positive attitude (joy there is in His protection!) at the same time that He wants us to purge the evil around us.
Confusing it is that anyone interprets such warnings as a warning of "the end." I have emphasized for nearly two decades that matters will unwind gradually, and that it could take any number of decades, through this century, culminating not in "the end" of the world, when culminate events do, but in the end of an era.
Unless we like the way things are currently in the world, that should cause us joy. To fear change -- change that is guided by God, at the behest of Christ, with the help of His mother -- is not logical. Perfect love casts out all fear. Those who disdain all prophecy based on "fear" disdain passages like Matthew 24 and Luke 21 and most of the Old Testament.
What about those timetables? Much is made of the year 2012, and indeed around then our solar system will be moving with the equator of the galaxy. But most of the interest is due to the predictions from sources we have to handle with extreme caution (Mayan calendars, Nostradamus, and psychics such as Jeanne Dixon: beware of occult influences).
And Isaac Newton? It is intriguing that the most influential scientist in history kept a manuscript in which he speculated on when the world would end, based on the Book of Daniel (where in 12:7 is the phrase "for a time, times, and a half."
Newton interpreted this phrase as meaning that 1,260 years would pass from the establishment of the Holy Roman Empire (by Charlemagne, in 800) until the "end of days."
I stay to what I perceive as the more credible Marian revelations, as well as the 1990 prophecy, that indicate major purifying events that will transform the world, but not the end of it. I don't like to be confused with that. In my most recent book, the Tower of Light -- on that and another prophecy -- I try to choose the language carefully.
But back to the point:
We are on the brink of a huge challenge and there are signs around us and we are not to discount them. The signs will become increasingly esoteric. Expect the unexpected here too. They will come in ways that we don't usually perceive as signs. Is the photo at the right, as alleged, really the moon over Lincoln, New Brunswick, Canada, on May 13 -- Fatima anniversary, and Mother's Day -- or will there be assertions that it is simply the coincidence of clouds or digitally altered? Is it a heart, or Mother Mary holding Infant Jesus (for your discernment)?
Many are those who write us with what seems like an explosion of interest in the sky, especially in the wake of the unusually bright appearance in recent days of Venus. Newton, notes one academic, "understood nature as a book that we can decipher, as the Holy Scriptures are read. He considered himself a kind of prophet of natural sciences. In both these areas he looked for the hidden message to be unraveled."
So we are not alone! In Revelation 22:16, Jesus says, "I, Jesus, sent my angel to give you testimony for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the Morning Star shining bright."
Many call Venus the "morning star." And its extraordinary showing has led to wonderment.
"On Ascension Thursday, my neighbors and I went to Mass," wrote Kathi Durborow of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. "The father is Catholic who recently returned to attending Mass. His wife is non-Catholic. We had her son Zachariah with us. We stopped at the local grocery store after Mass. When we got out of my van Zachariah pointed to the sky and said -- what's that? I looked up and said it's not flickering so it's probably a planet and told him stars flicker. It was in the west-northwest sky. I thought it unusual too because it was really bright. It was 9 p.m. As he turned to go into the store Zachariah said, 'It's the star that appeared when Jesus was born.'"
I'll just leave that where it is. We have a report from Ohio of a bright object that looked like a cross with blue, green, and red surrounding it. What would Newton say: just the quirks of refractive light from Venus or some star or bearing hidden meaning?
Others dream dreams about such things as seeing the Host up there.
If nothing else, we can say that the prophetic pulse is beating!
What about the concept, expressed in Tower of Light, that angels are at the ready? The very revelation upon which it is based was presented, allegedly, in 1990, by an angel.
In the second prophecy (December of 2004) it said, somewhat startlingly, that "the angels have their instruction from east to west, and now a timetable has been set in motion."
I'll let the book itself speak to what that means. But it is fascinating to explore the role -- in prophecy -- of angels.
It was of course angels that warned at Sodom and Gomorrah, it was an angel who announced to Mary (and in a dream warned Joseph). And angels are throughout the Book of Revelation.
Is that a book of allegories that pertained only to the evil of that time (the persecution and "anti-christs" who ruled in Rome), or does it bear future meaning?
Whatever the case, in Scripture we see angels involved not only with future events (the bowl judgments, or sounding trumpets that bring those events -- huge natural or military events) but also the passage in Revelation that states:
"And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads."
We see that indeed angels are charged, in some cases with meting out chastisement -- and also protecting us. They are powerful ones!
At Fatima, the famous third secret ended up involving an angel who was ready to set the earth afire with a torch (the flame of which was extinguished, however, by the Blessed Mother, marshaling prayers).
What might the angels be charged with now, if we are to believe the prophecy in Tower? The Book of Revelation makes it clear that such spirits orchestrate any number of events, including war. At Fatima, that angel envisioned with the flame seemed to symbolize a nuclear exchange.
This is said because the Fatima secrets dealt almost entirely with Russia -- including Russia as an agent of chastisement.
What might now be the charge of angels? If there is a "timetable," we cannot know it, correct? And will it be put off by the Blessed Mother? Or has time run out?
Glorious is the charge of angels! Glorious is good change!
Do angels really dispense secrets, as at Fatima?
Matthew 6:6 tells us that the Father "is in secret." He is in a secret place, to which angels, however, at least a certain class of angels, have access.
"The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our sons forever," says Deuteronomy 29:29. "The vision of the evenings and mornings, which has been told is true; but keep the vision secret, for it pertains to many days in the future," adds Daniel 8:26. "Surely the Lord God does nothing unless He reveals His secret counsel to His servants the prophets," states Amos 3:7.
Thus -- definitively -- angels are the messengers. The very name "angels" means that.
There are columns of light. There is the face like the sun. In Revelation, too, is the intriguing phrase: "There will be no more delay! But when the seventh angel blows his trumpet, then God will accomplish the secret plan."
