From Des Moines Register:
The last time Edgar Chong Leguisano saw his mother, he gave her a hug and told her to travel safely.
The last time his sister Stephanie Quintana-Leguisano saw their mother, she gave her the sign of the cross and told her that she loved her. She expected to see her later that week back in Des Moines to go to the Iowa State Fair. Their mother, however, has not been seen since Aug. 9, when she disappeared in Mexico, in what Iowa’s U.S. senators are calling a kidnapping for ransom. Chris Leguisano, a Des Moines resident, delivered a pickup truck to a family member that day in Reynosa, a northern border city in Tamaulipas, Mexico — where Americans have been kidnapped. She has not been seen or heard from since.
