Have you ever seen this?

It’s a rarely published photo of the three Fatima seers in 1917, and the Cross is of particular interest, resembling as it does the famous Cross on Mount Krizevac in Medjugorje, the site of ongoing (and Vatican-supervised) apparitions in Bosnia-Hercegovina.

Reflecting on these photographs, one recalls the great Pope John Paul II calling Medjugorje “the fulfillment of Fatima.”
Maybe this better captures Lent:
Which brings us to the prophetic pulse, and if not Church-approved predictions, in our times, somewhat interesting ones.
Interesting it is.
From the London Mail:
“A prolific professor dubbed ‘China’s Nostradamus’ predicted that Donald Trump would win the 2024 presidential election and go to war with Iran; his next prediction presents a chilling forecast for what is to come.
“Professor Xueqin Jiang has been at the forefront of several political predictions that have since come true on his YouTube and Substack series, Predictive History.
“Jiang is a Beijing-based educator and writer. He is also on the research team for Harvard’s Global Education Innovation Initiative, has authored a book on education reform, and coordinated study abroad programs at China’s most prestigious schools.”
The “chilling” forecast?
During a recent appearance on Breaking Points, Jiang reaffirmed this stance by citing Iran’s strategic superiority, which he believes the United States is ill-equipped to handle. He contends that the current U.S. military infrastructure is designed more for “muscle flexing” and traditional 20th-century displays of power rather than the complex, decentralized realities of 21st-century warfare. Ultimately, Jiang argues that American strategy lacks long-term viability, warning that the absolute worst-case scenario for the United States would be the unsustainable decision to send ground troops into Iranian territory.
“If there’s a war going on and you can delay elections and you have emergency war powers and people rally around the flag, then he probably will get a third term,'” Jiang predicted, according to the Mail.
Right now, it seems to us like the U.S. is giving Iran a historic pounding. It’s hard to see a quick Iranian recovery. But we’ll stay tuned (and pray for the now-many who have died in this conflict).
Noted an alleged seer from Ireland (quoting a message that was allegedly “given” many years ago):
“The continent of America will have much to endure for its denial of Me. War is fast approaching its shores.
“Fire, pestilence, plague, famine and the third world war will rage upon the earth until two thirds of the world’s population is wiped out. Those who will remain living will envy the dead. The man from the east will be evil, cruel and show no mercy to the world’s inhabitants. The invasion of Ukraine by Russia is the beginning of the third world war which will eventually involve Russia, China, and America and many other countries throughout the world. At first it will not be nuclear but will become nuclear and Russia will spread her errors throughout the world as I foretold at Fatima.”
For highly cautious discernment.
Remaining for another moment in the U.K., we go back the London Mail, which informs us that the Ark of the Covenant, the sacred gold-plated chest said to contain the Ten Commandments, and one of the greatest mysteries in religious history—this object that once symbolized God’s Presence among the Israelites but vanished from the historical record more than 2,500 years ago—may have been taken not to Ethiopia, or Zimbabwe (or even Ireland) as has been variously claimed.
A startling new theory: that “the Ark may lie thousands of miles away in one of the most remote places on Earth, buried deep in the jungles of the Solomon Islands.
“According to local traditions on the island of Malaita, ancient travelers from Israel may have carried the sacred relic across the ocean in an epic 8,000-mile canoe journey two millennia ago. Some religious groups believe the Ark was eventually hidden inside a lost temple modeled after King Solomon’s Temple, built somewhere in the mountainous interior of the island.”
So much said in these uproarious times!
More soundly rooted and but no less spectacular was an e-mail sent our way by an exorcist friend, who said, “Your article on the Flame of Love was interesting…
“Padre Pio got so hot he would break thermometers..
“He was over 120 degrees I’ve heard…yes, it’s a real thing..”
Apparently the famous mystic experienced periods of extreme, unexplained hyperthermia, particularly during his early years in religious life, where his body temperature would soar to levels considered impossible by medical standards, often causing mercury thermometers (allegedly) to break. This we were not aware of!
The Padre Pio Foundation of America is quoted as reporting that temperature levels reached 118.4°F (48°C), with some reports even indicating peaks of up to 120.2°F (49°C) or higher.
During a 1918 military physical, Dr. Giuseppe Grieco of Italy and colleagues confirmed the phenomenon with a bath thermometer (capable of reading up to 80°C/176°F).
The events were dubbed as a “fire of love” or intense spiritual suffering.
