The unusual discovery made by a young woman in Brazil has seen crowds flocking to the spot to pray.
Maria Rosa Querico spotted the markings on Sunday evening while walking to her father’s house on Brasilia Street, Candido Rodrigues in Sao Paulo. She said she had been looking at the moon when a sudden blue flash illuminated the pavement below. Maria said: “I looked at the moon and suddenly there was a blue flash and it reflected on that spot.
