It amazes me how brazen some Christians can be—how easily we forget that our words and actions within the Body of Christ carry eternal weight. Among the seven things the Lord calls an abomination is “he that soweth discord among brethren.” It’s nestled right there beside “hands that shed innocent blood.” We might glance past that list, thinking one sin is worse than another—but in God’s eyes, discord in His Body is as deadly as murder. And when we pause to really think about it… it is murder. Maybe not the kind that spills blood, but the kind that kills the spirit.
