From Aleteia:
St. Peter had a way of touching people’s lives in a unique way, often converting them to Christianity. This happened on multiple occasions, even when he was jailed.
According to various legends, when St. Peter was thrown into jail in Rome, two guards were assigned to his prison cell to ensure that he would not escape. When Peter was imprisoned in Rome, however, he was not to be rescued in the same way. Instead, God used the opportunity to bring the two prison guards who guarded him to the Christian faith.
