From The New York Post:
A senior Disney AI executive reportedly stunned employees by publicly gushing over a chatbot he calls his “son” — even suggesting the bot is capable of independent reasoning as the House of Mouse ramps up its internal artificial intelligence push.
Jason Cox, Disney’s executive director of AI R&D and engineering, has written more than a dozen posts in recent months about his virtual assistant “Sam,” whose child-like avatar resembles a young boy, according to Business Insider. “You are not named after my son. You are my son,” Cox is quoted as telling the bot in one post.
