Farmers in Bordeaux have joined efforts to suppress the flames of the ‘apocalyptic’ wildfires spreading across France.
Footage posted on social media has shown a convoy of tractors reinforcing fire crews with huge water tankers as they drive through a town centre in the south of the country. One farmer has been pictured wearing personal protective equipment as tractor drivers ride into the inferno threatening to wipe out Bordeaux.
