Soon after [his arrival in U.S.], authorities put the detained Venezuelan diplomat on another helicopter en route to a detention facility in Brooklyn – reportedly the same building that housed criminals like Sam Bankman-Fried. Maduro arrived at the holding facility shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday night. “Good night. Happy New Year,” a handcuffed Maduro said as several DEA agents escorted him to his cell.
