Lift High The Cross

November 26, 2025 by sd

Let’s just flip through some old photos and recent stuff.

Call it miscellany.

Remember this from years ago?

An amazing picture became a message of faith in Spain, taken at the baptism of Valentino Mora, son of Erica, a single mom of twenty-one who asked the photographer to take a picture of her son for free. The water seemed to form rosary beads.

Now, in social media we get this, which, when we ran it past ChatGPT, was analyzed as not being A.I. It was allegedly taken during a baptism in Pinhalzinho, Brazil, on September 21:

Many complain about the Catholic Church, which provides us with such sacraments, but it will survive–and certainly compares favorably to, for instance, prosperity preachers.

Making the social-media rounds also:

Indeed:

But problems?

For your discernment:

“The Church is My bride. Darkness will overshadow the Church. A false bride, not Mine, will pander to the spirit of the age… Remain faithful to Me and you will not be lost… Those who lead My sheep into the desert and let them starve and die of thirst will have to answer to the Eternal Father. Their souls are blinded by the false bride.”

Excerpt on February 2, 2022, of alleged visionary Manuela Strack, Germany, reportedly approved by the Bishop of Aachen

At the Vatican: Popes named Leo (XIII and XIV) have shared certain aspects of their countenance:

Leo XIII penned the most recent version of the Saint Michael prayer.

From X: “Catholicism in Japan has an insane aura, it blends so well with Japanese aesthetics. Yes, that’s a literal Christian samurai wielding a Jesus sword.”

More miscellany.

When babes pray:

Let all Christians unite without rancor. Let there be Light.

Seer Vicka of Medjugorje:

Power here too, for sure:

Words of wisdom?

From the mail: “I recently became aware that most Catholics today don’t know about the Marian apparitions that took place in Betania, Venezuela and Garabandal, Spain. The Institutional Church doesn’t seem to like apparitions and things mystical and doesn’t promote them. It took the Vatican thirteen years to recognize Fatima despite the tremendous miracle that happened on October 13, 1917. By then it was too late.

“The Betania apparition was approved by the local bishop. You’ll see a Eucharistic miracle happening around minute-32. Type A/B blood. Same as the Shroud of Turin.”

The Church?

She still and always will carry Light and Power.
