July 13 marks the anniversary of Our Lady’s transmittal of the famous Third Secret at Fatima.
That was in 1917. But we also meditate upon a year earlier, when the three children there encountered an angel in blazing white who taught them prayer.

Prayer for Pardon:

“My God, I believe, I adore, I hope, and I love You! I ask pardon for those who do not believe, adore, hope, or love You.” This prayer was taught during the first apparition.

Prayer of Reparation (Angel’s Prayer/Trinitarian Prayer):

This prayer was taught during the third apparition, where the angel appeared with a chalice and host, and is offered for the outrages, sacrileges, and indifference by which Jesus is offended.

“O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges, and indifference by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.”
The Fatima Prayer (Decade Prayer):“O My Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those most in need of Thy mercy.” This prayer is recited at the end of each decade of the Rosary.+
