STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The priest who posted a controversial video of an aborted fetus on an altar in a bid to garner votes for president-elect Donald Trump is being investigated by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Amarillo, Texas.

“We believe that no one who is pro-life can exploit a human body for any reason, especially the body of a fetus,”  said Bishop Patrick J. Zurek in a statement. The Rev. Frank Pavone, national director of Priests for Life in New Dorp, stands behind an altar topped with a graphically displayed, naked fetus in the video attached to a Facebook post for an Election Novena.
