A Russian first-person-view (FPV) drone attacked a monastery in the village of Chervonyi Mayak, located within the Novoraisk community of Kherson region, killing a 71-year-old priest and injuring four other clergymen. Kherson Regional Military Administration Head Oleksandr Prokudin reported that the attack occurred on Saturday afternoon.
“Russian terrorists attacked a monastery in the village of Chervonyi Mayak using a drone. A 71-year-old priest was killed by the strike,” Prokudin stated, offering condolences to the victim’s family. Strikes were recorded across 17 locations, with falling debris reported in five areas.
