A Ghanaian witch doctor says he has released Harry Kane from a spell, now that the English striker and his team’s World Cup match against Ghana is over.

“Now I ​am going to release Harry Kane so that, ​his next match, he can score,” Nana Kwaku Bonsam, a self-described spiritualist, said in an Instagram post shortly after the match ended in a draw. “Harry, I will come and visit you. Don’t be offended. We are friends.” Despite Bonsam’s witchcraft, Kane came close to scoring during the game but missed the goal at close range in the 86th minute. The victory would have secured England a spot in the knockout stage.
